This website uses Remark42, a privacy-focused, self-hosted commenting engine. We value your privacy and only collect the minimum information necessary to provide a functional and secure commenting experience.

When you sign in via Google OAuth, we access only the following "Non-Sensitive" information:

• Public Profile Information: Your display name and profile picture (avatar).

• Email Address: Used only for unique identification and to prevent spam.

3. How We Use Your Data

• 1. Identification: To display your name and avatar next to your comments.

  2. Security: To prevent "bot" attacks and automated spam.

  3. Moderation: To allow site administrators to manage comments and enforce community guidelines.

4. Data Storage & Protection

• 1. All data is stored securely on our private servers (Google Cloud Platform).

  2. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties or advertisers.

  3. User IDs are encrypted/hashed, and profile pictures are proxied to protect your IP address.

5. Your Rights 

You have the right to view or delete your data at any time. Remark42 includes a built-in "Delete Me" feature within the comment interface that will purge your profile and activity from our database upon request.
